I somewhat underestimated the response to bringing Fantasy Racers to a close after this season. I've received some very kind words from some of you, and thanks to those that took the time and trouble to get in touch.

A number of people have volunteered to help out (or even take over) running the competition. Again, thank you. That means a lot. As such I have decided to continue with the competition with, hopefully, the help and support of some of you kind volunteers to play a role in keeping the competition ticking along.

I have some work to do in the meantime to allow this to happen - but the message here is to let you know that if you wish to continue playing Fantasy Racers beyond 2025 you will be able to do so.

The scores and league tables have been updated with the results of the Azerbaijan GP.

Congratulations to Santiago Gaxiola for finishing at the top of the scoresheets this weekend with a tally of 1018 points. Santiago jumps 32 positions to sit 33rd in the season standings.

Daniel C remains the season leader carrying an 83 point advantage to the Singapore GP. Connor B remains the nearest challenger in second and Castro M completes the podium 306 points off the lead pace.

The top scorer this weekend was Daniel C. Daniel has sat in second position since Austria but now tops the season standings by 18 points. Connor B drops to second and Martyn Dissington returns to 3rd place 379 off the lead pace.

The scores have been updated for the Dutch GP.

Piero S tops the scoresheets today with 1220 points. Piero moves up 57 positions to sit 75th in the season standings.

Connor B's 1049 was enough to hold on to the overall lead although Daniel C is now just 19 points behind. Andy Stocker improves 2 positions to take the final podium spot.

The scores have been updated for the Hungarian GP.

Lawrence Halliwell and Duncan Stocks share the top honours this weekend each adding 1072 points to their season tally. Lawrence jumps 45 positions to sit 56th and Duncan jumps 9 positions to sit 14th in the overall standings.

There's no changes to the top 3 - Connor B still leads with a reduced margin of 121 points over Daniel C in 2nd. Martyn Dissington consolidates his position in third 320 points off the lead pace.

In other news our long time FantasyRacers legend Jonny Hughes has been dethroned after 4 years at the top of the standings. Is this a temporary blip or can Rodrigo C hold on to top spot?
