AnnouncementPosted : Friday 30th December 2016 01:56:29 am GMT

I regret to announce that FSPORTS will not be running any competitions in 2017.

Martyn and I have enjoyed running these competitions for the last 16 years. We've enjoyed watching the site grow and have taken a lot of time and effort to develop the site, ensuring we can continue to offer competitions year after year. We've both learnt an awful lot from the experience, which is what we originally set out to do.

Due to changes in personal circumstances, it is becoming harder and harder to find the time needed to keep on top of things. The site needs considerable rework to keep it functioning properly - time neither of us have available right now. We have therefore collectively made the decision to take 2017 off and re-assess at a later date.

We have a large number of loyal followers that have supported us throughout this period, and I would like to personally thank those people. It can be a thankless task running these websites but those of you that took time to provide thanks/feedback have made it all worthwhile.

Special thanks also for Alex and Mattia who have previously taken active roles in running competitions for us too.

So thank you and goodbye for now.

Danny.

Rally AustraliaPosted : Sunday 20th November 2016 05:07:27 am GMT

The scores and league tables have been updated with the results of Rally Australia.

Robert Oczkowski's RK Team WRC posted the biggest score from this event - adding 2107 points to his season tally. Robert's late surge pushes him up 5 places to sit in 3rd place overall.

Huge late drama as our long time leader, Garry Pearson's Scottish Demon, had an absolute shocker and dropped from the top step of the podium to 4th in the overall standings. Instead it was Keith Emery's Rollin Rollin Rollin perfectly timed challenge that takes the metaphorical silverware. Well done Keith.

Richard Harris Jones' Richard Harris Jones takes the runner up spot, with the aforementioned Robert Oczkowski's RK Team WRC closing out the podium places.

That's it for another year - but before I go I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to Mattia S. You all have Mattia to thank for the Fantasy WRC competition going ahead this year. Mattia has given up a lot of his own time to do all of the score calculations this year and sending them through to me. Good work Mattia!
